Iron Dextran Injection

Description *Iron-D injection is a stable, sterile solution containing 100mg/ml of elemental iron.
*Iron-D injection is used for prevention and treatment of iron deficiency caused anemia in piglets and other animal. Adequate iron is necessary for normal, healthy vigorous growth.

Indications Prevention and treatment of the ferrous deficiency anemia in piglet and other animal.
Administration
And Dosage For intra-muscular or subcutaneous injection.
*Cattle : 12ml per 250kg body weight
*Calf and foal : 4 ~ 8ml
*Sheep, goat and dog : 3ml
*Sow : For prevention - 5ml at two week before delivery.
*Piglet : For prevention - 2ml once at 3 days of age.
Treatment may be repeated at 21 days of age.
*Puppy : 1 ~ 2 ml
Cautions *Keep out of reach of children.
*Storage : Store in a cool and dark place protected from light
*Withdrawl period : Nil
